The Pose Art Museum is designed and inspired by photographic exposure. Photographic exposure is what controls the information and details that are recorded by a camera’s sensor or on film, thus rending the brightness of photos or videos. Like photographic exposure, the museum aims to create a reaction to light, or lack thereof. The design of the space will relate to exposure by manipulating light, line, and form to create an individualized user experience while relating to the concept on a meta level. The concept will influence circulation by creating dramatic sightlines and thresholds. Exposure enlightens your imagination to see beyond the face of an image, and to see what it can become.
